Velocity Broadband Featured on NPR
Hudson is one of a handful of Ohio cities that is using technology to pave a path to prosperity for its business community. In Hudson, the business community grew tired of slow and unreliable internet with providers not willing to invest or offer speeds that would sustain the growing businesses. Hudson improved the business environment, and is attracting new businesses with its own Fiber-Optic Broadband Network - Velocity Broadband.
Chief Broadband Officer Will Ersing spoke to journalist Mark Urycki from NPR about the path Hudson took to create Velocity Broadband, and was included in Urycki's piece about Ohio cities forging the way with fiber-optic networks to serve local businesses.
