Communication with our residents and businesses during this period is crucial. If a health emergency was to take place in Hudson, we would use all the necessary tools and methods available to inform our community and share next steps.
Be sure to register today for an emergency alert CodeRED account on our website for phone notifications. Our Twitter account – www.twitter.com/cityofhudsonoh - will be used as a primary source for emergency information to update the community if there are changes in City services, events are cancelled, or City buildings are closed. Information posted to our Twitter account will also appear on Facebook and on our website Home Page at www.hudson.oh.us.
The City of Hudson is working directly with Summit County Public Health, the State of Ohio, and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We are continuously monitoring the information provided by these organizations. We also are working through the City’s emergency operations plan to make sure that our City services will continue with limited interruption. Hudson Police, Fire, and EMS are trained and equipped to respond in the event of this type of emergency.
The main symptoms of this disease are high fever, cough, and shortness of breath. If you have these symptoms, especially acute respiratory illness, contact your medical provider for further advice. If you need emergency medical assistance, call 911.
Please feel free to share this information with others, and contact us if you ever need anything.
